Arsenal confirm ‘significant shoulder injury’ for Sead Kolasinac after left back sustained heavy knock early on in victory over Everton

Arsenal have confirmed that Sead Kolasinac could be out in the long-term after suffering a ‘significant shoulder injury’ against Everton.

Kolasinac was forced off with a shoulder problem early on in the enthralling 3-2 victory against Everton at the Emirates last weekend, which was his first appearance in six weeks following an ankle injury.

And now he has suffered another setback ahead of the business end of the season, with Arsenal confirming the injury as ‘significant’ ahead of the Europa League clash with Olympiacos.

Sead Kolasinac was forced off with a should injury early on against Everton last Sunday

On Wednesday, the Gunners said: ‘Sead suffered a significant right shoulder injury during Everton (h) on Sunday. He will undergo further specialist assessments during this week.’
