Manny Pacquiao wants to fight against Errol Spence Jr in a welterweight unification fight or Mikey Garcia when he returns to the ring later this year. 

The 41-year-old Pacquiao says that he will start training next month for his first fight since last July, when he defeated Keith Thurman for the WBA title in Las Vegas.

It will be almost a year on when Pacquiao then returns to the ring this year.

Talking to Filipino broadcaster ANC, Pacquiao said of his next potential opponent: ‘That’s Errol Spence and Garcia.’

‘My plan is to get back into the ring this coming July.

‘Second or third week in July. Training should start in April, May, June. We have enough time.

‘There’s a lot of possible opponents, like Mikey Garcia, Errol Spence or [Terence] Crawford and also there’s boxers from Canada and Mexico who want to fight with me.’
