Neymar ‘moves closer to sensational £157m Barcelona return’ after his relationship with PSG chief Leonardo becomes ‘unsustainable’
Neymar has taken another step towards rejoining Barcelona this summer after a complete breakdown in his relationship with PSG sporting director Leonardo, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Brazilian failed in his attempts to force through a move back to the Catalan giants last year after becoming frustrated with life in Paris.
But according to the Spanish newspaper, Neymar is still determined to return to Barca amid a ‘climate of tension’ between him and Leonardo.
Neymar will reportedly look to push through a return to his former club Barcelona this summer
They claim that their relationship is now ‘unsustainable’ and that the former Santos man will use that to finally seal a transfer to the club he left for a world record fee of £198million back in 2017.
Mundo Deportivo believe that the LaLiga side will have to pay around £157m to land the 28-year-old, who has 16 goals in 20 appearances this season.
It is said that Neymar will look to use a FIFA clause to push through his departure after spending three full seasons in the French capital.
