Chosen Mate wins Grand Annual Handicap Chase as race favourite romps home ahead of Us and Them

- And he delivered as he sprung from the back of the field to romp home to win
Chosen Mate was victorious in the sixth of Friday’s races at Cheltenham after seeing off Us and Them and Maracuja in a packed field to take home the Grand Annual Handicap Chase.
Gino Trail lead early ahead of Croco Bay and Maracduja, with Greaneteen lurking in the middle of the field. Chosen Mate spent large portions at the back of the pack but spring into life at the final fence to romp home to victory.
