Lewis Hamilton has warned the public they must self-isolate in order to reduce the threat of the coronavirus.
The Formula One star has told the general public to follow government advice by staying indoors in a bid to halt the current pandemic.
Hamilton communicated with his loyal fanbase on Instagram as he continued to self isolate.

He wrote to his followers on his Instagram story: ‘I’m so sad to hear about the amount of deaths happening around the world.
‘I know most of us are limited with the knowledge of why and how this has happened. There is nothing we can do about it either way except try to isolate ourselves, stop ourselves from catching it and spreading it.
‘There are people out there still going to clubs and bars and large gatherings which I feel is totally irresponsible and selfish.
Hamilton reached out to his followers to tell them to not be selfish by going to bars and clubs
‘I’m praying for my family’s safety each day but I’m also praying for you out there.
‘I’m praying for those working at the local stores, deliverers, doctors and nurses who put their own health at risk to help others and keep the countries running. These are the heroes. Please stay safe, people.’
The coronavirus has impacted the Formula One season with the eighth race either suspended or cancelled on Monday.
Azerbaijan joined Australia, Bahrain, Vietnam, China, Holland, Spain and Monaco in having to cancel a race due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Hamilton’s warning comes as it was announced a further 54 people had died in the United Kingdom, bringing the death toll to 335.
