Premier League stars ‘went ballistic’ after league publicly asked them to accept a wage cut

Premier League players ‘went ballistic’ after being infuriated by the league publicly asking them to accept a 30 per cent wage cut ‘without even running it by the captains’

Southampton and West Ham have both come to their own arrangements regarding wage cuts and the Independent report that the Premier League’s statement about a 30 per cent wage cut had not previously been relayed to the captains of the 20 teams, leading to annoyance from players.
