A certain England bowler has shared a throwback picture of himself in his first Nottingham Forest shirt as a child.
Alongside him in the snap is his sister Gemma, who was previously a performance analyst for the ECB, and he joked that she ‘won’t be happy’ with him posting the image to his 550,000 followers.
He is seen wearing a classic edition of the Forest kit and putting his fist towards the camera, while his sister flexes her bicep next to him.

Yes, of course it’s Stuart Broad, who posted the picture in response to the club asking supporters which of the kits down the years has been the favourite.
He added the caption: ‘Loving the favourite kit voting today. Found a picture of my 1st ever Forest shirt (Sister won’t be happy). Send me some pics on stories of your 1st ever football kits bet there will be some classics!’
The England veteran, 33, is a lifelong Forest supporter and lives just a few hundred metres from the City Ground.

He has played for Nottinghamshire since 2008 and also worked with his sister Gemma in the past.
From 2007-09 she was team analyst for the England women’s team and was part of both ODI and T20 World Cup-winning campaigns.
In 2009 she was promoted to work for the England men’s side and was part of the staff that helped them to two Ashes series wins and the Twenty20 World Cup.
Broad, like all professional cricketers in the country, is currently waiting to begin his season with the coronavirus crisis putting a stop to play as with every other sport.
As it stands, there will be no professional cricket in England or Wales until May 28 at the earliest, though clearly much could still change depending on the Covid-19 developments in the coming weeks.
