‘I feel sorry for him’: Jeff Lewis calls his ex ‘lonely’ and ‘lost’ after Gage Edward broke silence about messy custody battle over their daughter Monroe, 3

He’s had plenty to say about his ex Gage Edward since they confirmed their breakup in late January 2019.

And on Tuesday, Jeff Lewis once again launched into a tirade against his former partner on his SiriusXM radio show after Edward spoke about their split and messy custody battle on Instagram Live over the weekend.

‘I feel sorry for him,’the Flipping Out star said, as reported by People. ‘He seemed sad to me and he seemed lonely and he seemed lost.’

The exes are feuding over the custody arrangements for their three-year-old daughter Monroe, who was born via surrogate.

Their mutually-agreed arrangement fell apart earlier this year leading Lewis vowing to fight ‘to the bitter f***ing end’ in court.

In February, Edward filed legal documents requesting a court award him equal shared custody of Monroe and legal support.

He is also seeking to have the little girl’s name changed from Monroe Christine Lewis to Monroe Christine Edward Lewis.

A court date has yet to be set in the case.

In his social media session, Edward had explained how he is trying to protect their daughter from the fighting between her two dads.

‘She’s going to have her own experience with her other dad. I’m not going to weigh in on it and I’m not going to influence it. I’ll never put her in that spot,’ Edward stated.

‘I look at my daughter as if she’s 13, 14, 15, on Google one night, reading. And I’m not going to contribute to that,’ he added. ‘For her, I’m not going to put her in a predicament where she’s influenced by anything that I think with that relationship.’

On Tuesday, Lewis offered his own opinion about Edwards’ Instagram Live revelations.

‘I didn’t really understand the point of it,’ Lewis said on his show. ‘I thought it was rambling… didn’t seem to have a focus.’
