Manchester United handed boost in pursuit of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly with Senegal international ‘not interested’ by move to Paris Saint-Germain

Manchester United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. 

The Senegal international is on the radar of a number of top clubs across Europe after cementing himself at the heart of the Serie A side’s defence since his arrival in 2014. 

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to make additions to his United side as he looks to return them to competing at the top of the Premier League.

And it is thought that noises coming from Koulibaly’s camp will be music to the ears fo the Norwegian. 

According to LeSport10, via The Sun, Koulibaly is ‘not convinced’ that a move to Paris Saint-Germain is the right course of direction for his career.

Furthermore, it is thought he is very much open to pursuing a move to England.

Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in the 28-year-old, who has made 15 appearance this season in Italy’s top flight, before the coronavirus pandemic struck.
