Nearly six years after Sons of Anarchy rode off into the sunset, series creator Kurt Sutter reveals he has ideas in the works for two more shows.
Sutter, 55, has been holding weekly Q&A sessions for fans of Sons of Anarchy, and the spin-off he co-created, Mayans MC, on his social media every Tuesday.
When asked about the fate of Abel, the young son of the late Jax (Charlie Hunnam), Sutter revealed that would potentially be revealed in a new sequel series.

After the live Q&A sessions, Sutter will post some of his favorite questions and answers on Twitter, including one from a fan on Facebook, who asked how he though ‘Abel’s destiny will play out?’
Sutter replied, ‘I had this realization between SOA and Mayans. That the SOA mythology would be four shows.
After Sons of Anarchy and the current series Mayans MC, which will air its third season later this year, the other two would be First Nine and Sam Crow.

He added that First Nine, which would follow the original nine members of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original (SAMCRO), would be a ‘limited series’ comprised of nine episodes, possibly one episode focusing on each of the nine founding members of SAMCRO.
He added that First Nine would not cross over with Sons of Anarchy, adding it, ‘would end before we began to tread on the history we created in Sons.
The second show, Sam Crow, would be a sequel series, though he didn’t specify how far into the future it would be set.

He did say, ‘Sam Crow would be the fate of Wendi (Drea de Matteo), Nero (Jimmy Smits), Abel (Ryder Londo) and Thomas,’ the latter being Jax’s other son.
As for any progress on these shows, Sutter would only say, ‘I can’t discuss my current situation with Fox, so right now I can’t really comment on the reality of any of this happening.
Sutter got his star on FX’s groundbreaking crime drama series The Shield, where he served as a writer and producer throughout the show’s seven season run.

He co-created the Sons of Anarchy spin-off series Mayans MC with Elgin James, which is coming back for its third season later this year.
