And on Monday, Dave Hughes was the latest to take part in the online trend – albeit reluctantly.
The 49-year-old shared a selfie to Instagram in which he is wearing two pillows as a dress.

Held together with a belt that sits just under his waist, the comedian held up his phone in a mirror to get the scantily glad snap.
A watch was his only accessory – and the TV star looked far less than impressed as he took the shot.
He captioned the photo explaining that he was asked to take part by the Hughesy and Ed radio show team.

Dave wrote: ‘The @hughesyanded team make me do this stuff. They won’t even let me smile. #pillowchallenge’.
The radio programs’s official Instagram also shared the photo, explaining: ‘Hughesy thought he’d take on the pillow challenge… he just didn’t use his own pillow!’
A whole host of celebrities have taken part, including Anne Hathaway, who dressed up as her iconic Princess Diaries character, Mia Thermopolis.
