Meghan King’s ex Jim Edmonds says the child support payments he gives her are ‘no one’s business’… after she claimed the amount barely pays for food
Meghan King lashed out at her estranged husband Jim Edmonds earlier this week saying the child support payments he sends her barely cover her grocery bills for herself and their three children.
But on Thursday his rep pushed back on his behalf, telling Page Six that the money the former athlete gives her is plenty.
And the flak added that his client Jim – who filed for divorce in October after a sexting scandal and alleged affair with their children’s nanny, which he denied – will not disclose the figure as it is ‘no one’s business.’

The two are still working through their divorce, which has turned very bitter. They shared three children: daughter Aspen, three, and sons Hayes and Hart, two.
When a social media follower commented that Meghan gets paid well by Jim she snapped back, ‘Girl I have a career thank you very much! That child support is not buying me gold and baubles — it barely pays for groceries for my tribe!’
Jim’s rep then said Jim will not be disclosing how much money he pays in child support.

‘We’re not going to give numbers because it’s no one’s business, but if what Jim is giving to Meghan each month for child support doesn’t cover her groceries, she must be getting her eggs from Faberge,’ the rep Steve Honig offered.
But then he did go into details about payments.
‘Jim also pays every single bill for both of her homes, all the medical bills and practically every other expense related to the kids and the houses. Jim continually goes above-and-beyond what he is required to do,’ said the rep.

He then said that Meghan’s comments ‘are an insult to all the single mothers who are genuinely struggling financially and working multiple jobs to make ends meet.’
Meghan has said that ‘she did sign a prenup but it doesn’t pertain to child support or custody.’
Representatives for Meghan did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

It was recently revealed that retired pro baseball player Jim has since moved on from their relationship and is dating Kortnie O’Connor, a woman whom he and Meghan had a threesome with during their marriage.
