Katie Price has praised her ex Peter Andre’s wife Emily for continuing to risk her life on the NHS frontline during the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, the former glamour model, 41, candidly said that she’s found greater insight in being in the midst of the lockdown as it’s helped her to see ‘the bigger picture.’
On Thursday Katie had a brief but emotional reunion with her children Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, as they joined the nation applauding for key workers during the lockdown.

Emily has continued to work as a medical professional during the COVID-19 crisis, working long shifts and seeing increasingly more unwell patients battling the deadly virus.
Praising her ex Peter’s spouse, Katie told MailOnline: ‘I feel so blessed, I am grateful to both Peter, Kieran and to Emily for being out there on the front line, it’s times like these that you see the bigger picture and learn from that.’
The star also revealed she is hoping to see Junior and Princess again this weekend, after MailOnline revealed she’s rented a six-bedroom Surrey mansion mere minutes away from their home with Peter.
She added: ‘It works being closer to the kids.’

Emily has spoken openly about the anxiety herself and her colleagues have been suffering during the pandemic.
Sharing her experience of being on the frontline, Emily says she feels ‘lucky’ she can rely on Pete to take over at home and is overwhelmed by the ‘kindness’ people have shown to healthcare staff in recent weeks.
Writing for The Sun she said: ‘I think I speak for many NHS and key workers when I say it’s a very anxious time at the moment.
‘The number of kind gestures I have seen is overwhelming. People bringing in food for hospital workers, offering them places to stay or simply just words of encouragement.’

It comes just a day after Katie revealed she’d reunited with Junior and Princess for the first time since lockdown began, as they joined her oldest son Harvey, 17, in applauding NHS workers.
The family applauded enthusiastically as Katie said: ‘Keep up the good work!’
At the time Katie’s spokesman told MailOnline: ‘Katie has been reunited with Princess and Junior after 6 weeks- to ensure they are safe to be reunited with their mother and big brother, medical and government guidelines have been followed.
‘Katie and Peter share joint custody of their children.’

Princess and Junior have been isolating with Peter, Emily and their two children Amelia, six, and son Theo, three. for six weeks.
During the coronavirus lockdown, members of the public have been ordered to keep at least two metres away from anyone outside of their own household.
However, children with separated or divorced parents are still being allowed to visit both homes.

Katie recently praised her former husbands Peter and Kieran Hayler for looking after their children.
Along with Harvey, Junior and Princess, she shares son Jett, six, and daughter Bunny, five with her estranged husband Kieran.
She told The Sun: ‘I regularly FaceTime the kids. I can’t wait to see them and to give them a big hug – this has been really hard.
‘Kieran and Peter are great dads – I know the children are in safe hands.’
In the romance department, the influencer’s former fiancé Kris Boyson is said to be reportedly selling the £39,000 engagement ring he bought for her.
Katie and personal trainer Kris, 31, went their separate ways in December 2019 following an on-off one year romance.

Katie’s estranged husband Kieran famously cheated on her with her two best friends Chrissy Thomas and Jane Pountney.
The pair split in 2018 following a five-year marriage, but are yet to finalise their divorce.
