Rise of Skywalker jumps into hyperspace to land on Disney+ EARLY in honour of Star Wars Day on May 4th

Star Wars fans rejoice! In honour of Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you), Disney+ UK is bringing balance to the force by adding Rise of Skywalker to its vast library.

Directed by JJ Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which stars Adam Driver as Kylo Ren and Daisy Ridley as Rey, brings the heroic struggle to restore peace and freedom to the galaxy to an epic, resounding conclusion. 

The thrilling final chapter of the Skywalker saga will begin streaming two months early on Disney+, and will be the first time ever that Star Wars fans can stream the complete saga in one place.

The Rise of Skywalker also stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Naomi Ackie, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, Ian McDiarmid and Billy Dee Williams. 

The epic nine-part saga is available to stream in full on Disney+, along with additional Star Wars movies and series such as The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian involves executive producer Jon Favreau going behind the scenes of The Mandalorian in an eight-episode documentary series. After which, there will be a new episode aired every Friday on Disney+.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars finale will bring one of the most critically acclaimed chapters in the Star Wars saga to an epic close. It was created by George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation, with Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian) serving as executive producer/supervising director.

The award-winning series explores the events leading up to Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, featuring all-new epic adventures and memorable characters to expand the Star Wars story.

In addition to new exclusive Star Wars content, Disney+ will also honour the artistry of Star Wars with a week-long concept art takeover on the streaming service, featuring original concept paintings.
