Ada and her co-star Lynne McGranger spoke candidly earlier this week about the coronavirus pandemic, which forced the Home and Away set to be shut down.

Ada, 42, and Lynne were reviewing a new book on Instagram Live on Tuesday, when they broke off to speak about the pandemic, amid fears it could spell the end for the long-running series.

‘I’m very excited we are getting on top of this,’ Lynne, 67, said, referencing the easing of lockdown restrictions announced for New South Wales by Premier Gladys Berejiklian.

Ada agreed, claiming the country has done an ‘incredible’ job of flattening the curve.

‘Isn’t it incredible? We have all listened and done a really good job, I think. And our government is doing a really good job,’ she added.

‘I’m so proud to be an Australian at the moment. It’s incredible.’
