She’s never attempted to hide her love of alcohol, with her social media littered with snaps of her sipping on various beverages.

And, Emily Atack, 30, has said that boozing is ‘in her blood’ as she admitted to drinking alcohol on a daily basis ‘to get her through’ lockdown, while insisting that quaffing quarantinis is a ‘comfort.’

The former Inbetweeners actress explained how she’s used her spare time to become an ‘armchair bartender’ by perfecting her cocktail-making skills, and fears she won’t be able to go back to ‘necking cheap white wine’ in her local pubs.

Daily drinker! Emily Atack, 30, has said that boozing is ‘in her blood’ as she admitted to drinking alcohol on a daily basis ‘to get her through’ lockdown

In a self-penned piece for Grazia, Emily said she’s been able to fully indulge her passion for a tipple while self-isolating on her own, enjoying alcohol on a daily basis ‘to get her through.’

She wrote that being from Scouse and Irish dissent meant: ‘the answer to everything was and has always been – ‘Av’ a bevvy.’ So, you know, it’s in my blood and all that.

‘So it’s no surprise that during this lockdown period I’ve very much enjoyed my nightly cold glass of something (cough cough) to get me through.

‘It might seem our concerns of whether we are perhaps drinking too much have gone out the window, for now.’
