‘This isn’t endearing, it’s clearly bad time management skills’: MasterChef judges and fans mock Poh Ling Yeow’s repetitive issues in the kitchen as she suffers ANOTHER cake delay
Poh Ling Yeow nailed the mystery box challenge on Wednesday night’s episode of MasterChef Australia, but not without some of her signature cooking issues.
Many fans have grown tired of the 47-year-old chef’s repetitive time management problems, and pointed out how predictable her frantic cake drama was.
While some fans believe it wouldn’t be a Back To Win episode without Poh rushing until the last second, others claimed they are over the ‘drama and bad decisions’.

‘Cool, let’s do another episode about Poh’s struggles/race against the clock. Uninteresting,’ one sarcastic fan wrote on Twitter.
Another added: ‘Honestly this is getting old with Poh. This isn’t endearing, this is clearly very bad time management skills.’

‘Watching Poh make s**t cakes every episode is like going back to a park you used to love as a kid and realising that it is actually just a broken set of swings and a small seesaw,’ one Twitter user pointed out.
‘Poh just likes to create the illusion she’s in trouble, like the seagull at the beach that holds its leg up to get the attention without having to fight anyone,’ another joked.
But many fans remained optimistic, as one Twitter user wrote: ‘Poh literally does this every time! And she usually nails it.’

‘Poh. You are not in trouble. Just serve the cake batter in a bowl with a spoon,’ another fan added, using a GIF of Bruno Mars holding up a score of ten.

It appeared as though the judges were having similar thoughts, with Jock Zonfrillo pointing out her poor time management.

‘Poh is doing a cake, of course, and as is tradition with Poh. The cake takes 30 minutes to cook and it was going in the oven at 37 minutes to go,’ he said cheekily.
When speaking to Andy Allen and Jock, Poh attempted to blame her timing on being outdoors, claiming the gas wasn’t cooking the caramel as fast as normal.
‘Hey, it’s no secret that you’re outside, cooking, is it? No buts, Poh, it’s either gonna be cooked or it’s not gonna be cooked,’ Andy said firmly.
