It comes after Piers joked that he’s employing two of his sons as ‘a cleaner and an estate agent’ as he plans to see them for the first time in 10 weeks after the latest lockdown update.

After Boris Johnson unveiled his plans to loosen the UK’s lockdown status, Piers revealed he’s set to reunite with two of his sons for the first time over two months during Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain.

The presenter who shares sons Spencer, 26, Stanley, 22, and Albert, 19, with ex-wife Marion Shalloe, joked he’ll be employing his kids as a ‘cleaner and an estate agent’ as the nation can now see someone from a different household while maintaining a two-metre distance.

The lead anchor told co-host Susanna Reid: ‘I’m going to see both my sons’, to which she replied: ‘What? You’re not allowed to see them at the same time Piers Morgan.’

The outspoken news personality – who did not specify which of his sons he’ll meet – explained: ‘Separate times, separate days. One son I’ve employed as my cleaner and the other son I’m employing as my part time estate agent.

‘So that way I can see them both in houses. It’s just common sense’, the TV star quipped.
