Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer joke about their quarantine drinking habits

Best pals Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer are white wine and red wine drinkers, respectively.

The Oscar winner, 29,  chatted with Amy about their vino choices and quarantine drinking habits during an impromptu phone call while she was hosting her new Food Network show, according to a ET who got a look at the upcoming episode.

Amy Schumer Learns to Cook premiered two weeks ago and sees the 38-year-old comedy star being schooled in the kitchen by her chef husband, Chris Fischer.

During the third episode, which airs May 25, Amy rang up the Hunger Games star after Jennifer had just woken up.

‘We’re drinking chardonnay because, as you know, I like an oaky chard,’ Amy quipped to her pal.

‘What kind of wine do you like? I don’t remember because I’m a bad friend.’

Lawrence is more of a ‘red wine person’ but if she is drinking white, she goes for a crisp Sauvignon blanc.

‘I mean, if I’m drinking white, which I think is mainly for sl*ts,’ Lawrence laughed during their banter.

‘You like a nice red wine and earlier in the night,’ Amy added.

The Red Sparrow star revealed that she’s been trying to postpone her daily cocktail until later in the night, which has been a challenge during quarantine.

‘I’m trying to wait until 6 p.m., so I have, like, a preemptive beer at 5,’ Jennifer said.

Meanwhile, this week Amy shared one of her best friend’s personal recipes to her social media fans and whipped up ‘Jennifer Lawrence’s Roast Chicken with Shallot Fried Rice’ during her show.

During quarantine, Amy and her husband Chris announced their cooking show which they are shooting at home without a crew.

Giving a whole new meaning to the term ‘nanny cam,’ Gene’s dedicated nanny actually stepped up to serve as the camera person for the network show.

‘Watching Amy and Chris is intimate, real, fun and just great TV,’ Courtney White, President of the Food Network said in a release.

‘The nanny holds the camera, as Chris makes incredibly delicious food and Amy’s sharp wit delivers laugh out loud moments all the way through.’

Chris, who is an award-winning chef and cookbook author, is taking the reigns in the kitchen while trying to pass some of his knowledge on to his wife.

‘Now I know how to make tons of stuff,’ Schumer recently joked to Today’s Savannah Guthrie. ‘It’s horrible.’
