Married At First Sight: KC Osborne’s restraining order against Stacey Hampton is withdrawn

KC Osborne’s restraining order against her Married At First Sight co-star Stacey Hampton was formally withdrawn on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old dance instructor had taken an IVO out against Stacey on May 7, accusing the single mother and her friend Anthony Hess of ‘harassing her’.

A friend of Stacey’s told Daily Mail Australia it had been withdrawn due to ‘lack of evidence’ – but this hasn’t been confirmed.

The 26-year-old law graduate is now said to be considering legal action against KC for ‘slandering her’.

KC and her boyfriend, Michael Goonan, who was previously Stacey’s ‘husband’ on Married At First Sight, said in a joint statement: ‘This situation is beyond ridiculous and we want nothing to do with it.

‘We both want to be left in peace. Everyone needs to move on with their lives.’

Michael, 29, claimed last week that KC had been the victim of targeted harassment and threats from Anthony and Stacey. They both deny this.

After KC took out an IVO against Stacey on May 7, Anthony, 39, filed a similar restraining order against Michael Goonan on May 14.

In the complaint, the eccentric bitcoin investor claimed that Michael had sent him a ‘threatening text message’ and made ‘two threatening phone calls’.

An interim order made by the Melbourne Magistrates Court prevents Michael from going within five metres of Anthony, or within 200 metres of his home.

When asked if he had filed an IVO against Michael to get back at KC for filing one against Stacey, Anthony said: ‘Not at all. I had already planned to. This isn’t a war.’

The Interim Intervention Order lasts until June 10, when Anthony will have to argue his case again to have it extended and Michael will have the opportunity to put his version of events before the court.

Daily Mail Australia recently obtained one expletive-laden message sent from Michael to Anthony on April 4, telling him to ‘keep his distance’.

He wrote via Instagram direct message: ‘I’ll give you this, you are a good looking c**t. Though, know I like you. You will see [it] will take an army to rock me. Make sure the bullet goes straight throw [sic] my head.

‘Because I’ll fly charter a jet with the hardest c**ts from Russia just for the banter. Trust me to stay your distance. Bikies wanna go me, wear their true colours, I’ll always respect the lads.’

Michael later told Daily Mail Australia it was his job to ‘protect’ his girlfriend.

Dispute: Michael, KC and Stacey’s fall out turned bitter on May 3. After the couple danced with a Nerf gun, Stacey revealed it belonged to her son – and she wanted it back

Michael, KC and Stacey’s falling out had escalated May 3 over a petty dispute over a Nerf gun – four days before the first IVO was filed.

Michael and KC had shared a video to Instagram of themselves dancing with the Nerf gun. Stacey later claimed the toy belonged to her son and she had left it at Michael’s house after their split in January.

Stacey said she wanted the toy back, and then accused KC of imitating her style by wearing the same Stuart Weitzman boots that she owns.

KC said she’d owned her boots for years, and also clarified that she did not know who owned the toy at the time she posted the video.

Michael then offered to return the plastic gun to Stacey as a peace offering, but only if his ex-‘wife’ paid for postage.
