Madonna dances using one leg as she recovers from knee injury

She’s been keeping her fans entertained by sharing fun videos to Instagram while she remains indoors amid the coronavirus crisis.

And Madonna was back at it again on Tuesday as she did her best to dance on one leg while listening to an upbeat track in her home.

The Like A Virgin songstress, 61, was sure to put a smile on her followers’ faces as she performed the dance routine on one leg, after suffering from a knee injury while on her Madame X Tour earlier this year.

Madonna looked sensational in her ensemble for the fun video, which saw her wear a black-and-red tailored jacket over a chic black t-shirt.

Ever the fashionista she completed the look by wearing flared white chaps over black trousers, and the pop icon accessorised with silver chains.

Madonna wore her blonde locks in her signature waves and covered them with a black cap, while she used a glamorous palette of make-up for the video.

Making light of her situation, Madonna joked in the caption: ‘One legged dancer for hire………………..’

In March Madonna wrote on Instagram about hurting her knees while falling on stage two nights prior ‘when a chair was literally pulled out from underneath me by mistake and I landed on the floor on my tail bone.’

She described herself as a’ broken doll held together with tape and glue’ as she announced she was taking some much needed bed rest in hopes of finishing the tour.

The Madame X Tour launched in September 2019 in support of her fourteenth studio album Madam X released in June 2019.

The Lucky Star singer revealed earlier this month on social media that she was seeking ‘regenerative treatment’ after enduring extreme pain from her knee injury.

‘Finally going to get my regenerative treatment for my missing cartilage!! I would be jumping up and down if i could after 8 months of being in pain! Wish me Luck!’. [sic],’ she posted on Instagram.

Regenerative medicine is the process of replacing or ‘regenerating’ human cells, tissues or organs to restore or establish normal function.

At the beginning of this month Madonna claimed that she suffered from coronavirus near the end of her Madame X World Tour.

The tour ended in Paris on March 8 three days ahead of schedule after the French government issued a ban on gatherings of more than 1,000.

Madonna announced at the end of April that she was ‘going to go for a long drive’ and ‘breathe in the COVID-19 air’ after testing positive for antibodies.

Shortly thereafter she was seen breaking self-isolation to attend a birthday party for photographer Stephen Klein, whom she hugged and gave a ‘COVID-19’ cake.

Then in early May she fired up her Instagram page that ‘I am not currently sick’ but claimed she did have coronavirus on tour.

‘When you test positive for anti-bodies it means you HAD the virus which I. clearly did as I was sick at the end of my tour in Paris over 7 weeks ago along with many other artists in my show but at the time We all thought we had a very bad flu.’
