Hailey Bieber shares a snap of lookalike mother Kennya Baldwin in her youth as model hits back at claims she has undergone cosmetic surgery
Hailey Bieber proved the apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree by sharing an old photo of her lookalike mother with Instagram followers on Wednesday.
The model, who recently denied undergoing facial cosmetic surgery, posted the snap while in lockdown with husband Justin at their lavish Canadian mansion.
And fans were immediately struck by the startling similarity between Hailey, 23, and her stunning mother, graphic designer Kennya Baldwin.

Taken during her youth, Kennya, now 51, shows off the same delicately proportioned features that helped turn her daughter into one of the world’s most sought after catwalk models.
Revealing an identical pear-shaped face and upturned nose, a casual observer could be forgiven for assuming the image is a throwback of the model, rather than an old shot of her Brazilian-born mother.
Affectionately captioning her shot, the date of which remains unspecified, Hailey wrote: ‘Mama.’

Hailey posted the snap after threatening to take legal action against plastic surgeon Dr. Daniel Barrett for claiming she has been under the knife, according to TMZ.
The Beverly Hills-based surgeon was given a cease and desist notice for a TikTok post, in which he claimed changes in Hailey’s face – particularly her nose – couldn’t have happened naturally.
The Biebers’ legal team say that Dr. Barrett is in the wrong for using the blonde’s ‘name, image, and likeness’ to promote his brand by ‘spread[ing] false, uncorroborated claims that Mrs. Bieber has undergone plastic surgery.’

In the video, which was a part of his Plastic Surgery Secrets series, the doctor breaks down the evolution of Hailey’s face, comparing a 2011 photo to a more recent 2016 shot.
He tells viewers to ‘pay special attention to the nose,’ before going on to claim it would be ‘physically impossible’ for puberty or anything else to have changed her features that drastically.
Dr. Barrett also suggests Hailey has undergone genioplasty – AKA chin augmentation – and has lip fillers, in addition to having had a few other minor procedures.

The Biebers say his claims amount to ‘misrepresentation, defamation, slander, false light, violation of rights of publicity, copyright infringement, trademark and service mark infringement.’
They have asked Dr. Barrett to take down the video and issue a public retraction in the next 24 hours.
If neither happen, the couple are threatening more serious legal action.
