A custom print, romantic tones and pendant lights: The Block’s El’ise and Matt unveil their new master bedroom – and aren’t fussed if similarities are drawn from their rooms on the show
The Block’s 2019 stars El’ise and Matt Bothe have been renovating their family home in Perth, starting with their nine-year-old daughter Charlize’s bedroom.
And this week, the couple unveiled their master bedroom to Instagram, complete with a custom print, a romantic colour palette and pendant lights.
Speaking to 9Entertainment on Friday, El’ise said they aren’t fussed whether fans draw similarities between their home and the apartment renovated on the show.

‘I’m a practise what you preach person and I don’t see any fault in reusing things – it’s kind of like wearing an outfit twice over – it doesn’t matter,’ El’ise told the outlet.
‘We loved the vibe it gave off and we really feel like it makes our house our home now,’ she continued.
El’ise and Matt’s master bedroom features a custom floral print by Grafico in romantic tones, that is in place of a bedhead.
A soft pink bedspread ties in with the wall art, while black pendant lighting and a black chest of drawers adds a sophisticated element.

The space also boasts a reading nook, where El’ise told 9Entertainment you can take in the ‘city views’, and decorative items with a contemporary and eclectic feel.
El’ise and Matt shared several photos of the room to their joint Instagram page on Thursday, telling fans in the caption: ‘Contemporary meets eclectic. Luxe with a bit of romance. This is exactly what we wanted our room to look and feel like.
‘Loving our Block [wall] graphics so much, we wanted something similar in our own home. It’s safe to say, we can’t wait to jump into bed tonight!’

Earlier this month, the couple unveiled their daughter Charlize’s renovated bedroom, which has been transformed into a lavender wonderland.
The doting parents proved that simple changes can go far when renovating a neutral space.
They added a much-needed lick of paint, wall decals and hanging art on the walls.
El’ise and Matt wanted to ensure the room would grow with Charlize as she entered her tween and teenage years, opting to add feminine details, and more mature accents to the room.
