Lizzo says she’s been working out for years and tells body shamers to mind their ‘f***ing business’

She’s been dedicated to speaking out about systemic racism and advocating for defunding the police in recent days.

Lizzo turned her attention to another social ill in a playful TikTok video posted Tuesday: body shamers.

The 32-year-old singer–songwriter–flautist revealed she’d been working out for years, though it was just for her personal satisfaction and not to please others.

Not mincing words: Lizzo, 32, turned her attention to body shamers with a short TikTok video on Tuesday documenting her exercise routine and warning them to mind their ‘f***ing business’

The TikTok post, which was soundtracked by Jack Stauber’s Buttercup, opened with Lizzo glistening with sweat and riding on an exercise bike while wearing a blue Nike workout suit, before cutting to the same motion in a black Nike outfit on a different day.

‘Hey, so I’ve been working out consistently for the last five years,’ she said in narration.

‘It may come as a surprise to some of y’all that I’m not working out to have your ideal body type — I’m working out to have my ideal body type,’ she continued.

‘And you know what type that is? None of your f***ing business, because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job and I stay on my job.

‘So the next time you want to come to somebody and judge them, whether they drink kale smoothies or eat McDonalds or workout or not workout, how about you look at your own f***ing self, and worry about your own G**damn body, because health is not just determined on what you look like on the outside.

‘Health is also what happens on the inside, and a lot of y’all need to do a f***ing cleanse for your insides,’ she concluded, before wishing her viewers a good day.

Lizzo (real name: Melissa Jefferson) interspersed the clips of her working out with streamier shots of her posing in skimpier outfits and lingerie.

Lizzo may have been inspired to film her video after taking fat shamers to task Friday on Instagram.

She posted a short video noting a trend where users wrote her name in the comments of fuller figured women in an attempt to shame or humiliate them.

‘Letting you b**ches know that the next time you try to make fun of a woman for her body or her size, that b**ch we’re out here and we don’t give a f**k!’ she shouted.

The Juice singer added that being in the presence of those other women was ‘a compliment’ because they were ‘putting themselves out there and being confident,’ just like she was.

‘And we’re confident and we’re bad b**ches and we’re cover stars and, yeah, we get the motherf**kin’ views, the likes, and the motherf**kin clicks because we it!

‘So, thanks! And to all the big girls, I see you. Keep putting my name in the comments, h*,’ she concluded.

Call out: Lizzo took to Instagram on Friday to call out Tik Tok users for 'always' commenting her name as a put down 'every time there is a big girl on this app'
