Drake and Megan Thee Stallion are leading the (virtual) star parade as they have the most nominations at the upcoming 2020 BET Awards.
The two rappers have earned the most nods as the event will have its biggest stage ever with CBS announcing on Monday that they will be televising it for the first time ever.
The BET Awards will be making its national broadcast premiere as it will also be simulcasting across ViacomCBS networks including BET and BET HER on Sunday, June 28 at 8pm.

Drake, 33, had the most nominations with six including Male Hip-Hop Artist, Video of the Year and two for both Best Collaboration and Viewer’s Choice, for his features with Chris Brown on No Guidance and Future for Life Is Good.
Megan and Roddy Ricch tied for second most with five as the Hot Girl Summer hitmaker was recognized in the Viewer’s Choice, Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Best Collaboration, Album Of The Year, and Video Of The Year categories.
Ricch, who won his first Grammy Award earlier this year, also topped the pop charts with his upbeat hit The Box
As if that wasn’t already enough black female excellence; Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, and Lizzo all tied with four nods each.

Got five on it: Megan and fellow rapper Roddy Ricch tied for second most with five nods
Chris Brown and DaBaby also earned the same amount.
Kanye West, who released a gospel album last year, is nominated for the Dr Bobby Jones best gospel/inspirational award. He will compete with Kirk Franklin, the Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, John P Kee and PJ Morton.
This came just weeks after it was announced that the award show would go ahead virtually.
The organizers have announced that they are still going to host the ceremony – which celebrates the best in black culture – on the same date and will be ‘using an array of innovative techniques and artist-generated content’ to put on an impressive show for everyone at home.
A press release released on May 21 added that it will be the biggest ‘celebration of black love, joy, pride, and power’ yet.
Scott Mills, president of the BET network, said: ‘The BET Awards are a seminal event – the biggest celebration of black culture, black accomplishment, black excellence, and black potential.

The 2020 BET Awards will air across ViacomCBS networks including CBS, BET and BET HER on Sunday, June 28 at 8pm EST.
