He had a very public feud with his ex-fiancée Tammy Hembrow following their split in 2018.
And on Thursday, Reece Hawkins, 25, revealed the couple have put the past behind them to focus on their two young children, son Wolf, five, and daughter Saskia, three.
‘Me and Tammy, I see her every week, when I drop the kids off or pick them up, we communicate by text or phone,’ Reece said in a video he shared to YouTube.

‘Of course, we still have our ups and downs, but we’re doing pretty good now, we are on good terms,’ he added.
‘She’s the mother of my kids and I have respect for her for that.’
Reece, who has since found love with American model London Goheen, admitted their relationship hadn’t always been so easy.

‘We were extremely hurt and things escalate when there are kids involved,’ he confessed.
‘There were a few times when I made remarks (on social media) or videos and I shouldn’t have done that… Tammy is the mother of my children and probably didn’t deserve that,’ he added.
Tammy also shared in February that she was feeling a lot better about their relationship following their tumultuous split.
‘We were extremely hurt and things escalate when there are kids involved,’ he said of their public feud, adding he was to young to deal with the pressure
The bikini model shared a video to her Instagram stories that she filmed with Reece after she dropped by his home one afternoon to pick up Wolf’s school bag.
‘Me and Reece weren’t getting along for like the longest time,’ she said in front on her former beau.
‘We broke up so so long ago now and it took us pretty much this long to start getting along,’ she added.

‘It is what I have always wanted so I am really happy.’
Before this, the pair were known to have an acrimonious relationship, which was reportedly made worse by Tammy’s desire to relocate to Los Angeles.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia in March last year, Reece revealed he had no contact with the mother of his two children.

‘At the moment there is no contact,’ he said at the time.
The couple had fallen out over their Range Rover the previous month, leading to a war of words on social media.
‘Sadly, I lost my Range Rover yesterday,’ Reece said on Instagram. ‘That got repossessed. She [Tammy] decided that I didn’t need that.’

‘I’ve tried my absolute hardest to get this resolved and everything signed so everyone could move on with their life happily, but sadly it didn’t go that way.’
Tammy later responded on her own Instagram account, accusing Reece of having speeding fines and not paying his registration.
‘I’m not about to air my dirty laundry on social media,’ she said.

‘I don’t think it’s appropriate to talk bout some things. I don’t want to put anyone in a negative light, especially the father of my kids.
‘But basically, in response to the car thing that he’s talking about, that’s not the full story. It’s not true at all. Just don’t believe what you see on social media, I guess.
‘If I’m letting someone use my Range Rover they shouldn’t expect me to pay their speeding fines and registration. Simple as that.’
