Iggy Azalea is seen for the first time since secretly welcoming a son

Iggy Azalea was seen out in public for the first time on Friday since revealing she’s become a mother.

The rapper was running a rather mundane errand visiting a DMV in Hollywood, California.

The Australian star, 30, modeled her trademark blond tresses parted at the middle, along with extremely large silver hoop earrings.

Iggy wore an on-trend frayed denim jacket for the outing, along with a black bodysuit and black skinny jeans. 

The Fancy hitmaker was on her way to take a new driver’s license photo, now that the Los Angeles Department of Motor Vehicles has reopened amid eased coronavirus restrictions and is rescheduling previously canceled appointments.  

Azalea’s glossy pouted lips were matched with a healthy swipe of eyeliner and mascara, and her hip-hugging jeans accentuated her every curve.

She wore a black face mask as she left the office after spending 20 minutes inside.   

On her feet, she wore heeled strappy black sandals.

Just after her 30th birthday earlier this month, Iggy shocked her fans and the world by revealing she had given birth to a son in secret.

After more than a month of rumors, she confirmed she’s a mom by taking to her Instagram account on June 10th to announce the news in a bombshell post. 

‘I have a son,’ began the text-only Instagram Story.

The Pretty Girls rapper – whose real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly – continued, ‘I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world.’

‘I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret & I love him beyond words.’ 

She does not mention who the father is in the post, however the disclosure comes more than a month after reports that she secretly welcomed a baby boy with her rapper boyfriend, Playboi Carti, 23. 

Iggy and Playboi have been linked since the summer of 2018 and have had what many would describe as an on-and-off relationship.

They endured a brief breakup in December of last year – with Iggy declaring on Instagram that she was ‘single’ – but they reconciled shortly after.  

News of Iggy’s baby joy first surfaced in early May, when TMZ reported that she and Carti had welcomed a son together.

And after giving birth sometime in April, the notoriously private rapper has been surprisingly active on social media in recent weeks by regularly sharing stylish selfies and sponsored fashion posts. 

Meanwhile, the rapper also recently returned to the studio to record a new single.
