Robert Herjavec tests dog commands on his and wife Kym’s two-year-old twins Haven and Hudson

Dancing with the Stars‘ Kym Herjavec shared a hilarious video of her husband  Robert playfully trying dog commands out on their two-year-old twins.  

After updating fans that they had welcomed a furry addition to their home, the  professional ballroom dancer, 43, joked the 57-year-old Shark Tank star ‘takes everything way too far’ and attempted to ‘apply the training to our babies.’ 

Like the family’s Belgian Malinois, named Trixie, the couple’s tots, Haven and Hudson, proved to be quick learners, as their dad urged them to ‘sit’ on Wednesday.

Immediately after Robert asked the little ones to have a seat, his son plopped down on a large concrete stepping stone in their expansive backyard.  

Following her brother’s lead, Haven joined in on the ground, as the businessman attempted to command their attention with an orange ball. 

As he asked the duo if they were ‘ready’ to fetch, Robert had difficulty maintaining their interest, until he threw the ball and exclaimed, ‘Go babies! Go babies, go!’

While the toddlers initially didn’t move, they eventually took off running and screaming, next to their dad, who asked them to ‘sit’ one more time, upon retrieving the ball. 

Robert appeared at ease, as he goofed around with his youngest children in a pair of light-wash jeans and a white t-shirt on the sunny afternoon.

The father-of-five also shares two daughters, Caprice and Skye, and a son named Brendan with with his ex-wife, Diane Please.

Haven and Hudson are Kym’s only children, but she recently announced she would ‘love’ to have more with Robert to Us Weekly in May. 

‘No, no, no. We can’t even get a dog. Are you kidding?’ Robert chimed in, before revealing they almost adopted a pup, but all the shelters were ’empty’ at the time.  

Kym also mentioned she has been putting dance numbers on to keep their babies entertained under lockdown.

‘They love music. They love movement,’ she added, while also mentioning that they have tap shoes and Haven enjoys the ballet barre. 

The lovebirds welcomed their littles ones two years after tying the knot in Beverly Hills. 

She previously called her pregnancy a ‘miracle’ and motherhood the ‘best thing ever’ to Who magazine.

She gave birth to the twins in April 2018.

Kym married the Canadian businessman in 2016 after they fell in love while partnering on the ABC’s Dancing With The Stars reality competition in 2015.

Robert is the founder and CEO of cybersecurity firm Herjavec Group, and for the past decade, has been investing in a number of innovative companies that have appeared on the US version of Shark Tank.
