Big Brother evictee Xavier Molyneux has revealed details of an unaired prank that saw his co-star Daniel Gorringe throw a massive tantrum.
Speaking to New Idea on Monday, Xavier said the trick involved putting a packet of Daniel’s beloved Doritos in the freezer.
‘I remember we got such a big shopping bill that we all got to choose something nice,’ the Sydney paramedic said.

‘Dan chose a pack of Doritos and was saving them, so I thought it would be a good idea to freeze them the night before in a bowl of water,’ he added.
But the former AFL player didn’t see the funny side and exploded at Xavier.
‘He got really angry and was like, “I was really looking forward to that!”‘ Xavier said of the practical joke gone wrong.

At the time, Xavier thought the incident would have sent Daniel home, and he was disappointed when it didn’t air on television.
He added that the reality show came across as very ‘drama-based’ this year.
Xavier was evicted on Sunday’s episode after getting six votes, therefore missing out on the chance of winning the $250,000 prize money.

Following his eviction, Xavier wrote on Instagram: ‘And that’s all she wrote.
‘Met some awesome people and had an absolute blast! Thanks to everyone who brought it all together and for the opportunity of a lifetime!’
Speaking in the West Australian after his departure, Xavier said he had lost work due to the coronavirus pandemic.

‘I do events work, so all the events have stopped unfortunately so I lost my job,’ he told the publication.
‘[But] it gives me time to process the whole Big Brother thing,’ he added.
‘Just taking time for yourself I feel like if I went straight back into work, I wouldn’t have had time to process it all, it is full on.’
