Cody Simpson steps out mask-free in Los Angeles 

He’s been self-isolating in Los Angeles with girlfriend Miley Cyrus during the COVID-19 pandemic.  

But Cody Simpson, 23, was spotted without his famous other half on Thursday as he emerged for a lunch outing with male friends. 

The Australian crooner went mask-free while grabbing a bite at the upscale Erewhon food market in Los Angeles.   

Appearing relaxed, Cody was seen chatting merrily to his pals while nibbling upon a healthy-looking feast.  

Cody wore a white T-shirt, black-and-white Nike shorts, crew socks and black sneakers. 

The buzz-cut blond completed his look with a pair of square-framed sunglasses, which he later propped onto the crown of his head. 

Cody’s sprawling tattoo collection was also on display, including the image of an anchor on his left hand and a single line inked vertically across his right forearm. 

The sighting comes as Cody gears up to celebrate his one-year anniversary with Miley in September.   

While some celebrity couples have struggled to cope with the pressures of locking down with their loved ones, it’s clear Cody and Miley’s relationship is stronger than ever. 

In April, Cody told the Sydney Morning Herald that being with the former Disney star was ‘a wonderful thing in his life.’  

‘She is creative and inspiring, fiercely independent and encourages me to be my own person too,’ he cooed. 

‘We are both creative individuals who support one another with our work,’ Cody added.
