Channel 10 has confirmed three new ‘wild cards’ who have never appeared on The Bachelorette will be entering the Bachelor in Paradise villa on Wednesday.

The network shared a photo of the three men, Tim, Chris and Conor, to the show’s official Instagram page, and wrote: ‘You want more fellas in Paradise? Go on then have three BRAND NEW love-seekers who’ve never been on a Bachelor show before.’

But viewers were left very confused, and questioned why these contestants were entering the villa despite never having appeared in the franchise before.

‘What the heck! They’re bringing in guys that have never been on a show!’ another wrote below the announcement post.

In previous seasons, Bachelor in Paradise has only brought together unlucky-in-love contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

Last week, Daily Mail Australia revealed these contestants had applied to be on The Bachelorette but didn’t make it to the end of the audition process.

Adelaide-based Timmy Lindy is an aircraft engineer by trade, while Conor Canning is an auctioneer from Hobart, and Chris Gilleland is a construction worker from Perth.

It’s believed Conor hooks up with Mary Viturino on the dating show, as she has made several mystery trips to Tasmania since filming wrapped in December.
