Khloe Kardashian takes a phone calls as she leaves sister Kourtney’s rental property in Malibu

Khloe Kardashian recently opened up about her life in lockdown with two-year-old daughter True Thompson.

But the 36-year-old KUWTK star was spotted without the darling tot on Thursday afternoon as she left her sister Kourtney’s, 41, rental property in Malibu.

Khloe looked glamorous behind the wheel as she rocked a full face of makeup and a dramatic, neon orange manicure.

Her ‘bronde’ hair was parted down the middle and meticulously straightened in order to achieve a sleek look.

Kardashian had her cellphone in her hand – and presumably on speaker mode – as she zoomed down the highway.

Before hanging up her call, Khloe slipped a pair of stylish, black aviator shades over her eyes. 

Over the past week, Kourtney, ex Scott Disick, and their three-children have been enjoying some family time at an oceanfront beach house in Malibu.

Whether or not Khloe joined the friendly exes and their children for the a day of fun in the sun is unknown.

As for parenting her own daughter – whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson, 29 – amid the pandemic, Khloe stressed how important it is keep a consistent ‘routine.’

‘I do think consistency is key. I think whether you want to discipline or love – whatever – I think being consistent, and your kids crave consistency. They love routine,’ explained the reality star, while appearing on The Travis Stork Show earlier this week.

‘True doesn’t have to cry or wonder if something’s going to happen. She knows after her bath, “OK, I’m going to rest now, now it’s bedtime.” I think they really crave some sort of routine or repetition.’

And Khloe also feels it is important for moms and dads to be ‘in the moment’ and shun technology for some quiet time with their kids. 

‘Be as present as you can. Just be in the moment. I know with technology and phones and TV it’s so easy to be distracted and everybody grabbing at you, especially during this time, too, I’m sure you’re being pulled in a million different directions. But try to be as present as possible. Because it flies. It really does.’

When asked about her approach to potty training, Khloe admitted she does not believe in ‘bribing’ and that it all comes down to clear communication.   

‘There’s no right way, there’s no wrong way [to potty train] … I don’t believe in bribing – I believe in incentives. Whatever your incentive is, it has to be only for potty time; it can’t be throughout the day, or you’re going to confuse them. You have to give them a reason to want to go on the potty.

‘Every hour, I put her on the potty and we make it exciting … I know when she starts going into a corner by herself … I know what her actions mean … like when she does her little potty squirm. Sometimes she doesn’t but lately she’s been really good about telling me.’

Though Khloe and her small family appear to be thriving in quarantine, the same cannot be said for her older sister Kim Kardashian.

Concern has grown for the Kim’s husband Kanye West’s mental health in recent weeks after he broke down in tears at a presidential rally, accused Kim of cheating on him with Meek Mill and called his mother-in-law Kris Jenner ‘Kris Jong-Un’. 

In his latest rambling Twitter outburst, West said that Kim was ‘out of line’ to meet Meek Mill to talk about ‘prison reform’, and blasted her mother Kris Jenner as ‘Kris Jong-Un’ while accusing the pair of ‘white supremacy’. 

Although Khloe did not directly comment on the ever evolving drama, she did, however, post back-to-back quotes on her Instagram that appeared relevant to the situation.   

‘If we could spread love as quickly as we spread negativity, what a wonderful world we would live in,’ shared Khloe in one post.

While another read: ‘I thought 2020 would be the year I get everything I want. Now I know 2020 is the year I appreciate everything I have.’
