On Tuesday, HIFK released a new deal that is already aimed at the present, but even more so in the future. Elis Hede, 19, is a new acquisition of HIFK with a 2 + 1 contract. He will become a second-generation HIFK player, as his father, Niklas, played in the HIFK shirt for several years.
– Elis is a player acquisition for this and now, but especially for the future. He is a very skating and very skilled player, the sports director of HIFK Tobias Salmelainen told On the HIFK website.
– We saw him last season in Chicago and the signing of the contract became topical now that he decided to move on to professional hockey.
Last season, Hede played for the Chicago Steel team in the USHL Junior League.
