The flies have entered into a comprehensive contract with the striker next season Jesse Puljujärven with.

Last season, Puljujärvi represented Kärppi 56 matches with power points 24 + 29 = 53 and formed an efficient radar pair together Juho Lammikon with. The 22-year-old Edmonton Oilers ’1st round reserve placed fourth on the League Regular Points Exchange.

– From last season as a whole, there were really good feelings. The team had a good spirit and we won a lot of games. My own game also felt good, and I was able to take the steps forward in many small things, Puljujärvi commented on the Fly website.

Fly Sports Director Harri Aho is pleased with “Pulju’s” decision to stay home for at least another year.

– Puljujärvi, which has become one of the best players in the League, brings a lot of decision-making power to the team. The flies, on the other hand, provide the young striker with an excellent platform to develop and take greater responsibility within the team all the time, Aho commented.

– We have had a very open discussion between Jesse and his agent about what can happen on the NHL side. After all, Jesse has the right to sign a contract with the NHL, but no one knows exactly what the situation will be in North America next season. With this agreement, Jesse is a full member of the Oulu Flies and an important piece of the team for the coming season, Aho opens in the Flies press release.
