Arsenal, one of the major footballers in the English Premier League for football, plans to cut jobs due to the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus. In Arsenal, the trigger has a total of 55 jobs.

According to Arsenal, its main sources of income have stalled recently. Arsenal’s lineup and management have cut salaries during the coronavirus pandemic, but the club needs more and more savings.

– Our goal has been to protect jobs and keep basic salaries for as long as possible. Unfortunately, we have now come to the point where we are proposing to lay off 55 employees, the press release on Arsenal’s website said.

Arsenal won the English Cup championship last season, but it only finished eighth in the Premier League.
