The goals of Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teräväinen led to the actual playoffs of the Carolina Hurricanes hockey NHL league. Carolina defeated the New York Rangers 4-1, represented by Kaapo Kako, on Tuesday.

Carolina took the NHL playoff qualifier round straight to their name with a 3-0 win. The next opponent of the Hurricanes is not yet known.

Chris Kreider hit the Rangers 1-0 lead right at the start of the second set, despite Hurricanes defender Sami Vatanen’s blocking attempts. Carolina leveled three minutes later. Andrei Svetshnikov baited and Sharp (1 + 1) put the puck nicely into the net with the knuckle. Look:

Warren Foegele scored Carolina’s winning final in the first half. Foegele directed defender Brady Skjei, acquired from Rangers in February, to the blue line shot net.

Aho (2 + 1) increased Carolina’s lead in the middle of the final round. He first stole the puck’s Rangers kit from Jacob Troubai, then misled defender Tony DeAngelo, and finally lifted the game gear to the top corner of the gorge.

Aho still hit the final numbers blank. He collected 3 + 5 = 8 in the qualifying round in three matches.

Both teams had changed goals. Petr Mrazek had done a great job of Carolina’s fight in the first two matches. Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind´Amour still gave the opportunity to James Reimer, who filled his plot wonderfully.

Igor Shesterkin had recovered and jumped between the Rangers poles. The healing of the Russian entrant knew that Henrik Lundqvist had become a hatch guard.

Carolina returned to the NHL playoffs last year after a 10-year hiatus. The Hurricanes surprised many and progressed all the way to the finals of the Eastern Conference before bowing to the Boston Bruins.
