The Kanta-Hämeen AS series continues today in Hämeenlinna

Finland’s longest-running motorsport series will really start today, when the program includes the first of five races of the autumn season.

The car navigation training series has been part of the summer in Kantahäme for more than 50 years. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, only one race was run in the series during the spring season, and some of the races scheduled for the spring were postponed to August.

In Riihimäki 9.6. After the series opening, the program includes the Ahvenisto AU race in Hämeenlinna today, which starts and finishes in the café of the Ahvenisto motorway. After the AAU race, the series will be competed in Janakkala on August 11, in Hyvinkää on August 18, in Loppi on August 25. and Ponds 1.9.

Participating in AS series races is an easy and affordable way to get into the world of car navigation. No club membership or degrees are required during practice times, and the entry fee for beginners in Class E is only € 10 / pair / practice run.

AS is well suited for a family hobby, as the map reader can be driverless and a minor. The race takes 1-2 hours.

There is no series fee in the AS series, but still the best in the categories will be rewarded at the end of the series. The competitor can run as many races as he wants, but the final points of the series will include the four best performances of each competitor.
