There was an incident in the UK where a McDonald’s employee did not let a pregnant woman into the toilet because she paid for her purchase with a front coupon instead of money. The woman who was upset about the incident is in her 36th week of pregnancy.

The video shows how Mäkkär’s advertising images are made.

Amy Williams, 26, headed to McDonald’s in Canterbury, England to buy coffee and dine with her husband Sam Hutchinson, 26. The couple had a coffee card that allows them to get free coffee after first collecting a certain number of stamps.

While waiting in line, Amy was hit by a toilet emergency. However, a restaurant employee denied the woman access to the toilet because she was not going to pay for her coffee with real money. The case was reported, among other things Fox News and The Sun..

An angry woman hurried to another cafe to do business

Amyn had to run quickly to another nearby cafe where she was allowed to use the toilet without any problems. The woman says she is upset about the incident.

– I was furious. I clearly pregnant, and I’m not allowed to pee, because I paid the money, made available to The Sun, Amy.

– The employee showed my stomach and said he understood my emergency, but pointed out that I do not pay with real money, the woman continues.

Amy says she was on the verge of crying. He tells Fox News he has never received similar treatment.

– No one turns a pregnant woman away if she needs to use the toilet. Not even when he’s not a customer! Amy is talking.

The couple didn’t want to cause a scene, they said, so eventually they headed elsewhere to eat as well.

The company regrets

Amy complained to the fast food giant and received company apologies in response.

– We sincerely apologize to that customer. We are disappointed that our customer service in that situation did not meet our standards. The customer was inadvertently misinformed, McDonald’s reports.

– We have reminded the staff of the restaurant in question of our practices in order to avoid similar cases in the future, the company says.

Despite the apologies, Amy doesn’t know if she will ever use McDonald’s again because of her nasty experience.
