The sailboat drifted into the rock at night – a group of four was towed to the shelter

The sailboat party was rescued by towing in Ohtakari, Kokkola.

SALVAGE The Maritime Rescue Center Turku received a call on Tuesday night at 01.30 from a sailboat drifting on a rock. The group of four had been on the move in a nine-meter sailboat, but drifted low and got seagrass on the propeller.

After this, the unsteerable sailboat was stuck in a rock in front of Ohtakar. The Turku Maritime Rescue Center alerted the Central Ostrobothnia Rescue Department to the task of the boat, which located the party and towed them to the shelter port of Ohtakari.
