Hammer thrower Aaron Kangas has provided a real hit in the GP competition in Espoo.

The fabric made the fly fly in the final round as much as 79.05 meters. This is a new record for a Finn.

The fabric’s previous record is this summer, 77.82 meters. So the improvement was as much as 1.23 meters.

At the same time, Kangas rose to second place in world statistics this season. No. 1 is Randy Winkler from the United States, who has made the fly fly 80.70 meters.

Kangas, 23, took the race victory in his name. Norway’s Eivind Henriksen took second place with a throw of 76.13 meters.
