Arsenal and star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyangin follow-up contract negotiations are nearing completion, he says The Telegraph.

Gunner Men is already preparing a final offer to be signed by a 31-year-old Gabonese leader. The latest round of negotiations went in a positive light, and some issues were already agreed orally.

Aubameyang is expected to sign his follow-up agreement, as long as he and his representatives find no problems or differences with what has already been talked about.

Arsenal are offering its captain a contract that will extend until summer 2023. According to the Telegraph, the new deal guarantees Aubameyang a weekly salary of more than £ 250,000 and includes cash bonuses. His current contract will expire after next season.

In addition to the salary increase, Arsenal has reassured Aubameyang by telling him that the head coach Mikel Artetalla is allowed to strengthen his team in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal have been rumored to be associated with a number of top names, but the London club will have to sell its existing players in order to afford new acquisitions.

Aubameyang has represented Arsenal since January 2018 after joining the company from German Borussia Dortmund. He has played 109 matches with the Londoners, in which he has made a total of 70 hits.
