The loss-free tube for Espoo-based Honka in the men’s football league continued on Thursday in Kupittaa, Turku, when the people of Espoo sought an easy 2-0 away win from the Turku Football Club. The points account for TPS home matches remained unopened.

– Honka was clearly a physically stronger team, and we were not able to fight evenly against them, admitted TPS head coach Jonatan Johansson, who piloted his first home match.

According to Johansson, the home team lacked self-confidence, and the youth of the team was clearly evident in the duel.

Hongan Demba Savage took the lead after 57 minutes, as a result of Lucas Kaufmann’s awkward, but ultimately successful, shot from the right. Just five minutes later, Jean Marie Dongou finished the Espoo winning scores.

According to Honka head coach Vesa Vasara, the game is well under control all the time and the victory was earned.

– We were a clearly better team and we were able to perform well despite the tight game schedule, Vasara stated.
