Lukas Hradecky returned to real action for the first time on the football pitch after the end of the German Bundesliga season when Leverkusen hosted the Glasgow Rangers in the second quarter of the Europa League quarterfinals. A 1-0 victory at home at home on Thursday was enough for Leverkusen to play for the continuation, when the opening part of the match pair had ended 3-1 in favor of the Germans before the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Leverkusen’s winning goal was scored by Frenchman Moussa Diaby. Hradecky’s zero game didn’t require much, as zero defenses were recorded for the Finnish guards. Glen Kamara was not in the Rangers lineup.

Leverkusen has a small home advantage on his side of the European League semi-finals ahead, as the competition is completed in Germany. In the semi-finals, Leverkusen will face Italian Inter next Monday.

In the second battle of the European League early evening, the Spanish Sevilla defeated the Italian AS Roman 2-0 and advanced by the same number to the semi-finals.
