Toyota’s WRC team, led by Tommi Mäkinen, has tested this week in Estonia, where the World Rally Championship will continue from 4 to 6. September.
On Wednesday, Kalle Rovanperä and his map reader Jonne Halttunen were able to fly Estonian gravel to the satisfaction of their soul (video below this text).
Only the Monte Carlo, Swedish and Mexican races had time to run from the World Cup series until the coronavirus pandemic cut off the season.
Rovanperä, 19, had a great time right in the first WRC of his career.
Rovanperä, who historically finished third in Sweden and jawed his jaws on the western neighbor’s side, especially in the Power Stage special stage, is comfortably fourth in the World Championship points when he arrives in Estonia.
