Thursday’s round of NHL solving games had to start with a giant surprise in Finnish, as Olli Juolevi was cool in the initial heat of the Vancouver Canucks.
However, Juolevi could not get into the playing lineup. However, getting into the initial heat means that Finnish talent was Canucks’ first alternative to defense.
The match between the Canucks and the Minnesota Wild started at 9.40 pm Finnish time.
Juolevi hasn’t played in his career in the NHL yet, so making his debut in the qualifiers would have been quite a surprise.
Juolevi played all season in the AHL, where he got 45 matches with 2 + 23 = 25.
