Punk veteran Bad Religion surprises – released a rather unexpected but pulsating version of his old song

Even the old decent Bad Religion still manages to surprise. The orchestra has released a new version in 1990 Against the Grain album Faith Alone chapter.

Instead of traditional punk rally, only the soloist is at the beginning of the song Greg Graffin and the piano, before both drums and strings rush.

The song was recorded while maintaining social distance, for Graffin, Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz, drummer Jamie Miller, a one-man orchestra, including Beck, Lady Gaga and Garbage Stevie Blacke as well as the producer Carlos de la Garza each played its part.

“I’ve always written songs on the piano,” says Graffin alongside piece published opinion. “Some of our first songs were composed on my mother’s piano. I’ve been in a lot at home, so I started to record songs at that way. Brett thought Faith Alone would be particularly suitable for these times. For me, it embodies what makes our band special, and that is that our songs probe the spiritual and intellectual aspects of human life. ”
