Seville cleared their way to the European League semi-finals by knocking down AS Roman 2-0. Seville were scored by Sergio Reguilón and Youssef En-Nesyri.
Sevilla cannoned the seats one after the other right from the start. Roma had difficulty getting their own passes, and the Romans ’playbook was clear: counterattacks were sought with long openings Edin Jackoa towards.
Seville put pressure on the visitors’ central defense 22 minutes into the game, but Reguilon couldn’t find an opening. Reguilon grabbed the side of the midfield and left three Roma defenders behind with their spurt. Pau López groped Reguilon’s finish, and the ball eventually flagged easily to the finish line.
En-Nesyri doubled the lead just before Halftime. Lucas Ocampos A pass to the side pulled the defense out of position which let Roma slip through on goal. He outclassed the home side’s keeper, adding another goal for the visitors.
In the second half, Roma got his machine up a bit, but Sevilla continued to control the match. stopper Jules Koundé scored a third goal, which was eventually dismissed as an offside after a VAR check.
Roman Gianluca Mancini was driven in the final moments of overtime in a straight red off the field with a topper hitting a Sevilla striker in a butt situation Luuk de Jongia back of the head.
The Seville semi-final will survive later in the evening’s Wolverhampton-Olympiakos match. The solution of that match pair starts from a 1-1 draw after the first partial match.
