AS Roma confirms on its website that the club has reached an agreement with the American billionaire Dan Friedkin with club sales. The deal with Friedkin Group was closed on Wednesday and is estimated to cost approximately EUR 591 million. The Italian authorities are expected to confirm the deals by the end of August.
– We have signed the agreement and are working together to complete the legal process, as a result of which the club will change owners, President of AS Roma James Pallotta says the club in a statement.
Friedkin Group is an American investment group. It owns, among other things, Gulf States Toyota, which imports Toyota vehicles into the United States. The value of Friedkin’s assets is estimated at about four billion euros.
– We at Friedkin Group are all happy to be part of this iconic city and follow. We are working to complete the deals as soon as possible and look forward to joining the AS Roma family, Friedkin commented.
