The Alexander Panthers by Alexander Barkov and Erik Haula took a forced win in the qualifying round of the NHL League hockey league on Wednesday. Florida defeated the New York Islanders 3-2.
Barkov was the second scorer in Mike Hoffman’s handsome 2-1 superiority goal, which emerged right at the start of the final set, taking Florida to the final lead. The Finnish star has now scored in all three matches in the series.
The victory felt so good that Barkov put on a dance. The patterns of the Panthers captain can be viewed on the twitter embed below.
Haula struck the opening hit of the match with superiority. It was the first goal of the Finnish striker acquired in February in a Panthers shirt.
The Islanders lead the Best of Five match series with a 2-1 win, with Florida playing back against the wall again on Friday.
– We played hard in the game of death. We demanded a lot from each other today and we got a great result. We are happy and excited to be able to do this again in two days, Florida defender Aaron Ekblad said.
