Pirkka Goat’s Milk Cheese, bought from an Espoo grocery store, contained uninvited guests.

In the video, a tip for a cheesy toasterdilla delicacy.

On Tuesday, the father of the family, Ari Heinonen, normally went grocery shopping at his local store in Perkka’s K-Market in Leppävaara, Espoo. According to the basket, a packet of Pirkka Goat’s Milk Cheese also grabbed. At home, the cheese was put in the fridge until Ari decided to taste it with his wife Eira the next day. When the package was opened, the surprise was quite: the cheese was teeming with worms.

Pirkka Goat’s milk cheese pounded worms.

– The cheese was purchased on 4.8. and it had the best before the date of 9.8. So there is still half a week left, Ari tells MTV.

After noticing the worms, Ari snapped a picture of the cheese package with uninvited guests and went to take the product back to his local store,

– I went to show it to a local dealer. He was horrified and of course gave the money back. Of course, he didn’t know about this. The merchant immediately removed the same batch of cheeses from the shelf for sale.

Ari can’t say if there was a worm problem in the other cheeses in the batch, as the merchant didn’t want to investigate them further. The practice is to dispose of the defective item. The retailer also recommended contacting Kesko’s consumer service so that the information is passed on and Ari receives possible additional compensation.

– From there, my e-mail was answered immediately and I was very sorry. The information went on and they investigated the situation of that batch. The cheese originated in France and there were so many worms that I do not think they came from the trade. I think they have already been in France at the packaging stage in milk.

Ari wants to emphasize that she is very satisfied with the operation of the merchant and the consumer service.

– They handled this very matter-of-factly. It seems that the problem is now there in the cheese making head.

Kesko has not yet responded to MTV’s survey on the subject.
